If you are travelling in your boat, caravan or motorhome, this is for you. You will never use the oven again. It is a perfect size for a couple of grey nomads or a small family, and there is a larger one in the pipeline I believe, but don't wait for it. Most people will want both. I certainly do!!

    Convection Oven Vs. Air Fryer

An air fryer works by circulating very hot air all around a food ingredient placed inside a closed space. The heat makes the outer surface of the ingredient dry and crispy while the keeping it's inside soft and moist. Unlike deep frying, the fat content of the ingredient remains very low.

A microwave works by bombarding electromagnetic radiation through food. The electromagnetic radiation polarizes molecules and makes them rotate along with the alternating microwave field. This causes them to hit against one another resulting in heat within the food. This heat cooks the food uniformly from inside.

From a taste point of view, the air fryer may be unacceptable to people who like the flavor of oil in food (deep fry). The air fryer may score over the microwave with respect to crispiness.

The air fryer consumes more energy and takes longer than a microwave for an equivalent amount of cooking.

    Air fryer vs Deep Fryer

    • The Airfryer can make fast nearly anything , cook your foods in a healthier way with less fat than a conventional fryer, by using little or no oil!

    • Air fryer is Safe, easy to use, understand and operate.

    • Cook your favorite foods fast. How fast is it? Within 3 minutes preheats to 200 C.

    • Easy to clean and creates less smell than Deep fryers. The removable nonstick coated drawer and the food basket are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.

    • Not make a mess. Not Hot oil spit. Doesn’t make houses smell of old grease.

    • Taste is 95% as good but with no need to add any oil at all its 85% much healthier than using a deep fat fryer. It’s better if you are trying to lose weight!

    • The Airfryer can make nearly anything much more than just chips/fries. The airfryer ability to fry, roast, bake or grill.

    • In summer with Cooling System, Your kitchen will not heat up nearly as much.

What types of frozen fries can I prepare in the airfryer?

You can prepare two types of froze fries in the airfryer:

    1. Frozen oven-ready fries

    2. Frozen fries suitable for deep-fat frying.

The airfryer can give food a crispy outside while keeping it soft inside. This makes this appliance perfectly suitable for preparing fries and snacks.

The outside of most other ingredients, such as meat, poultry and vegetables, is slightly crispy after preparation.
If you like it crispier, you can lightly brush oil on the outside of the ingredients.

Why do I have to shake the food during the air frying process?

If there is more than one layer of ingredients in the basket or many ingredients touch each other (for example fries, snacks), shaking halfway through the process is necessary for an even result. Fragile food should not be air fried in more than one layer, as shaking will damage it.

If you do not shake, the hot air cannot reach the areas where the ingredients touch each other. The food in the basket will be cooked, but some areas will not get crispy. By shaking, your food will become more evenly colored and crispier all over. When you shake the basket, you can also check on the color of the ingredients.

To shake the ingredients, pull the pan out of the appliance by the handle and shake it. Make sure your fries are mixed well during shaking - lower layers should come on top and vice versa - so that you will achieve even results.

    Eggplant Roll

An easy and healthy vegetarian food to share today.

    Eggplant Roll
    ===========
    Eggplant
    Bell Pepper (3 colours)
Paneer/Cheese Cottage /Tofu (I used Japanese fried tofu and Indian Paneer )
    Salt & Pepper
    Spray Oil

p.s. I didn't mention quantity as it depends how many you make.

    1. Slice eggplant into thin sheets. Longer is better as easier to roll up. My trial was too short.
    2. Cut bell pepper and tofu into thin sticks. Mix well and season with salt & pepper.
    3. Roll up mixed bell pepper and Paneer with eggplant sheet, secure with toothpick.
    4. Spray oil on rolls surface, Airfry at 180 degree for 3-4 minutes.
    5. Served with any sauce and chopped ginger. Didn't include in the picture as you can use any other sauce of your preference.
