This airfryer from Philips is sheer genius! There are so many things I am using it for, and adapting new recipes all the time. The more I use it the more I love it. If you are travelling in your boat, caravan or motorhome, this is for you. You will never use the oven again. It is a perfect size for a couple of grey nomads or a small family, and there is a larger one in the pipeline I believe, but don't wait for it. Most people will want both. I certainly do!!

SALT & PEPPER VEGETABLES RECIPE

Ingredient

  • Egg 1
  • maida 1 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to Taste
  • Chapped carrot  2 tbps
  • Chapped red bell pepper 2 tbps
  • baby corn  2 tbsp
  • zucchini 1/2 cup
  • oil
  • Chopped spring onions
  • garlic
  • ginger
  • chopped green chillies

Steps

  1. Mix maida and egg together
  2. add carrot , red bell pepper ,baby corn , zucchini  add salt , pepper and mis it well
  3. preheat air fryer fpor 180 for 3 Min
  4. Put everything in airfryer for 180 degree for 15-16 min

then ,  take oil in fry and put garlic , ginger , chopped green chilli and the  mix with vegetable from air fryer and mix it well

Grilled Fish

Ingredients:

  • Small fishes (I used kembung fish)
  • sea salt and turmeric powder for marinades

Steps:

  1. Cut and remove intestines from the fishes. Clean and pat dry.
  2. Marinate the fish for 30 minutes.
  3. Arrange fish in the airfryer basket. Air-fry at 180 degC for the first 5 minutes. Then, 200deg C for another 8 minutes.
  4. Serve hot with your favorite chili sauce.

Potato Wedges/French Fries

 

  1. Marinate potato wedges with salt, turmeric powder (1/2 teaspoon), red chilli powder (2 teaspoon), cumin powder (1/2 teaspoon) & dry mango powder (1/2 teaspoon). Keep them aside for half an hour.
  2. Preheat the Airfryer on 180°C for 3 minutes.
  3. Place the potato wedges in frying pan and brush them with little bit of oil.
  4. Cook them for 15 minutes on same temperature and shake them in between.

French Toast

 

  1. Prepare thick batter with the help of besan (4 tablespoon), chopped onions (3-4 tablespoon), chopped green chillies (2 teaspoon), turmeric powder (1/2 teaspoon), red chilli powder (1/2 teaspoon), asafoetida (1/2 teaspoon) and salt.
  2. Apply the batter on your breads with spoon or fork and put them on a butter paper or Aluminum foil.
  3. Preheat the fryer on 200°C for 3 minutes. Place the breads in basket and brush them with oil. Cook them on 180°C for 3-4 minutes

Tawa Paneer Roll

Ingredients

  • Paneer 600 g
  • Carrots 50g julienned
  • Cabbage 50g shredded
  • Yellow aam papad 40g
  • Rice flour For dusting
  • Chilli powder 5 g
  • Turmeric powder 5 g
  • Oil For brushing
  • Salt To taste
  • How to Cook

    Tawa Paneer Roll

    1. Take a whole block of paneer. Cut the paneer into thin slices which can be rolled. Apply salt, turmeric powder and chilli powder on the
    paneer. Place the slices on a hot non stick pan for two minutes.
    2. In a separate pan sauté carrots and cabbage. Add juliennes of aam papad and cook for 2 minutes.
    3. Spread the filling over the paneer slices. Roll the paneer. Dust it with rice flour.
    4. Pre heat the Airfryer at 180oC for 5 minutes.
    5. Place the rolls in the Airfryer. Set the temperature at 180oC and air fry for 1 minute.
    6. Open the Airfryer. Lightly brush the rolls with oil. Air fry at the same temperature for another 2-4 minutes or until golden brown

    Paneer stuffed brinjals

    Ingredients

    • Brinjals, big - 1 - 2 no's
    • Paneer, grated -- 1 cup
    • Pickle -- ½ tsp
    • Coriander leaves -- 1 tbsp

    For coating:

    • Lemon juice -- 1 no
    • Salt -- to taste
    • Chili powder -- ½ tsp
    • Garam masala – pinch
    • Turmeric powder – pinch
    • Ginger garlic paste -- ¼ tsp
    • Rice flour -- 3 tbsp
    • Oil -- 1 tsp

    Steps:
    1. Cut the big sized brinjals/ eggplants into thick slices. Take a slice and carefully slit halfway through to stuff the paneer mixture.
    2. Take a bowl, add grated paneer, any pickle you have, finely chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
    3. Take some paneer mixture and stuff in between the eggplant slice, repeat and stuff the other slices too.

    For the coating:
    1. Take an eggplant slice, squeeze over little bit of lemon juice on both sides. Sprinkle some salt over, chili powder, garam masala, turmeric powder and ginger garlic paste. Rub this masala mixture on all the sides of the eggplant.
    2. In a plate take some rice flour, chili powder and pinch of salt. Mix all ingredients well.
    3. Coat the eggplant with the spicy flour on all sides and air fry them.
    4. Preheat the air fryer at 180 degree C for 5 minutes.
    5. Place the eggplants in the basket and fry them.
    6. After 5 minutes, pull out the eggplant, remove onto a plate and baste the eggplants with very little oil and again put them back into the air fryer and fry for 4-5 minutes.
    7. Remove and serve them hot.

    Cheese Balls

     

    1. In a mixing bowl, get the boiled & mashed potatoes (2 nos.), turmeric powder (1/2 teaspoon), red chilli powder (1 teaspoon), black pepper powder (1/2 teaspoon), cumin powder (1/2 teaspoon), breadcrumbs (half cup) and salt.
    2. Mix everything together.
    3. Prepare concave patties with the mixture and place a cheese cube inside the hollow space. Close the patty and make perfect round-shaped balls. Dust them with cornflour.
    4. Preheat the unit on 200°C for five minutes and put the greased cheese balls in it for 10 more minutes.

    Paneer with Curry Leaves

    Ingredients

        Cottage cheese (paneer)  -    250 grams
        Curry leaves  -    25-30
        Cumin seeds  -    1 teaspoon
        Coriander seeds  -    1 teaspoon
        Fennel seeds (saunf)  -    1 teaspoon
        Ginger peeled  -     1 inch
        Green chillies  -    2-3
        Garlic cloves  -    4-5
        Bengal gram (daalia) roasted  -    1 tablespoon
        Lemon juice  -    2 teaspoons
        salt  -    to taste
        Oil  -    2 tablespoons
        Tomato  -    1 medium

    Method

    1. Dry roast cumin seeds, coriander seeds and fennel seeds in a non-stick pan till fragrant.
    2. Slice ginger and put in a mixer jar. Roughly chop green chillies and add to the jar. Add garlic, roasted Bengal gram, curry leaves, roasted ingredients, lemon juice, salt and 2 tbsps water and grind to a thick paste.
    3. Cut cottage cheese into 2 inch cubes.
    4. Transfer the ground paste into a bowl. Add cottage cheese cubes and mix well. Add 1 tbsp oil and mix lightly.
    5. Place only the prepared cottage cheese cubes in the air fryer basket and cook at 180º C for 10-12 minutes. Let the rest of the marinade remain in the bowl.
    6. Finely chop tomato.
    7. Heat remaining oil in another non-stick pan, add tomato and sauté till soft. Add the marinade remaining in the bowl with 3 tbsps water and salt and mix well.
    8. Transfer this tomato chutney into a serving bowl. Halve one of the roasted cottage cheese cubes and place it on a serving plate along with the other cubes and serve immediately with the tomato chutney.

    That’s all , Marinated cottage cheese cubes air-fried and served with a flavourful tomato chutney
